The tremendous flexibility of C-Therm technology allows it to play a critical role in numerous areas. As a tool for thermal research, the rapid, non-destructive testing characteristics of the TCi™ system make it invaluable. The scope of the technology goes well beyond this application. Thermal effusivity can be an excellent proxy for other quality criteria and provide a cost-effective, real time evaluation of raw materials, goods in process and finished products. Likewise, effusivity can be used as a measure to accurately evaluate service life of a material, such as a lubricant, in critical areas.
